Wow, this little book packs a powerful punch! It reminds me a bit of Rilke's LETTERS TO A YOUNG POET (in a very good way) except it's even more universal. Not just for poets or artists, but for anyone with a dream. My favorite line: The truth is // our dreams could be // as far away as forever // or as close as lunchtime. Perfect graduation or inspirational gift!

I am the dreamer this was written for, I read it in 20 minutes and I really look forward to reading more from this author.

Just lovely! I really enjoyed the use of repetition for emphasis and even juxtaposition. It's painfully optimistic for my taste (despite a focus on suffering for a bit in the beginning and middle), but so beautiful and thoughtfully written that I felt like I didn't have a choice but to give it five stars.

A poem-speech for dreams, for people with passions and perhaps without instant success.
