My own fault for not rating this higher. I’m not a fan of short stories and didn’t realise until into my third of this book. Was interesting for what it was. Uncomfortable at times.

This book is super depressing and reminds me of everyone I ever knew in the elite, capitalist circles of the east coast. It you want to be reminded of your waspy, mean parents or backstabbing friends it’s perfect!

Má to sice pověst, že je to silně politicky zabarvené... a nutno uznat, že ne-feministické ani ne-liberální to vážně není. Ale nejsou to povídky o feminismu ani liberalismu, spíš povídky o lidech z příslušné bubliny. S tím se dokážu velice snadno ztotožnit, takže za mě moc dobrý. A pár z těch hvězdiček je prostě za čtivost, styl, upřímnost a podobné.

3.5 I don’t really care for short stories, and I might have liked it better if I hadn’t listened to it. Anyways, some of the stories were better than others.
