I could not put this down! If you have not started this series yet, then you are missing out. I love how the previous couples were such a part of this book while the current unit is being built. I recommend this series to everyone.

This one dipped. Another character is introduced. Hunter. Brother to the priest, principal, and the teacher. He's saved helene and the other girls and set in motion treble consequences.
The whole book is a lot of repetition. Helene is captured once again, drugged once again, and they must fight their way out. And then it happened again.
The culmination of it comes to ahead when all the men's from the books join forces to save their loves.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice/Steam: 🌶️🌶️
Relationship: FMMMM
Tropes/Triggers: noncon, drugging/mind controlling substance, graphic violence
Series: Captured - Blood Ties #8
Synopsis
Continuing from events in Forbidden, Captured continues with FMC Vivienne, the Daughters and the guards from The Order being ambushed by MMC Hunter Cruz and his men. Hunter is the fourth Cruz brother and there is discord amongst him and the MMC Riven, Kane and Thomas due to their different preferred methods of getting their sister, Melody, back from The Order.
All of our beloved characters meet in this story: Ryth and the Banks brothers, London, Colt, Carven, and Vivienne. There is also distrust and anger when they learn of Vivienne's relationship with Riven, Kane and Thomas. Can they get it together to face their common enemy, The Order?
Review
The books in this series keep getting better and better. The story of The Order is so sick and twisted. We keep getting bits of information in each book and just when we think we have a grasp, we get new information which changes everything.
For me personally, I don't mind the constant suspense and action. I need all the information as soon as possible. The Order is so corrupt, powerful and sordid. It's fascinating how the author comes up with this place and keeps it believable (for a fictional story) yet so captivating.
I am currently in the "I come for the romance and stay for the smut" era and this series brings it so much.
There is a lot of story going on in the plot but there a romance always develops into smutty goodness. There isn't as much spice in this book but there is so much fascinating plot. I'm a little sad yet eager to read the next book, which will be the last.

Try as I might I just can’t get into the series. I’ve kept reading and can absolutely see why people enjoy it but I found it weirdly paced with action happening so quickly at times that I need to re-read whole sections to figure out what’s happening.
I love me some spice, but honestly this just felt like spice for the sake of it. The timing just didn’t make sense most of the timing.
The sheer volume of characters just added to the confusion for me.
I’ll finish the series to give myself closure, but honestly it’s not a joy.
So not a winner for me but I can see why others might enjoy it more.

I only give this book three stars because of all the turmoil that occurs. I am very much left with an empty feeling that I do not like. I really hope this wraps up in the last book because I am left feeling pretty scared for what is to come.

This one is the darkest so far IMO but so good! Can’t wait for the conclusion!
