This just didn't do it for me. I don't like the
Spoilerdead spouse/lover
trope. Any time I read a book with that in it, it drags it down. I didn't DNF because I love this author and thought it would have just been a speck in the story. Nope. The hero is grumpy because of this and spends the majority of the time grieving and being kind of rude to the heroine.

This is less than 100 pages ... So for him to spend that much time being rude, I never got to like him. I didn't feel a drop of chemistry and I'm still trying to figure out how they fell in love.

I think I'm just going to stick to this author's full length books.

Good fast pace easy-going. The best break and relaxing all what I needed of course needed more in the story of both the characters

Omg Atticus is THE grumpiest. That made it so much sweeter when Lucie made him happy. Such a cute little novella.

Pretty good

This book was pretty good, it's super short. Lucie was super bubbly and Atticus was definitely rough around the edges, their personalities really complicated the other.

Atticus just wants peace and quiet. Lucie is a ray of sunshine and only wants her new neighbor to feel welcome. Mr. grump meets Miss sunshine. He ends up taking care of her when she is sick and they only become closer.

Fast paced romance. Love that Atticus is able to overcome his past and move on with someone who makes him truly happy. Beautiful story.

Her Daddy’s Sunshine by Laylah Roberts – Her new neighbor may be a reclusive grump, but he isn’t going rain on her parade if she has anything to say about it! These two are so cute together it makes your teeth hurt! Lol! Happy Reading!

It’s an adorable Laylah novella. There genuinely isn’t much you need to know beyond that. It’s a slower burn there’s not as much spice as I would’ve loved but there’s all the Laylah feels and the protective alpha Daddy who makes the world a brighter place. I love it. I love all of Laylah’s Daddy books. How could I not?! Laylahverse for the win! :D
