I haven't read many "ghost" books so I was really excited when I found out about this one. Unfortunatly, this book wasn't what I thought it would be. I made it about 170 pages into it, but it just wasn't going anywhere. I tried my best to finish it but I just couldn't get through it, so I ended up skipping through and reading the last 5 or 6 pages of the book to see how it ended. The book just seemed very dull with not enough things going on to hold interest.

Amazing book with a wonderful story line. It's hard to believe this is her first book, it is well written and flows perfectly. Laura knows how to draw the reader in, I found myself unable to put the book down.

At first, I was confused and didn't like the tone of the book. After a while I fell in love. It's such an odd story. It stills haunts me (no pun intended) even though I finished it weeks ago. Helen is an interesting character who grips you with her thoughts. I ended up totally hating her family. Her love interest is so kind to her. I can't imagine having to live in someone's body and be them if you've never met them.

I cried so much but it truly gives you a glimpse of a non corporeal way to live... (shudder)

Semplicemente meraviglioso e profondissimo.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed a love story about two ghosts. A friend loaned me this book. It's not something I would have chosen to read without someone's recommendation.

This book is beautifully written. I enjoyed the first quarter or so. Helen's eternal roving and life with her hosts was interest. Then she meets another like her in a human body and is talked into taking over her own body. Between the two of them, they have 200 years of afterlife but inhabit teenage bodies and suddenly start acting like that. Then full on YA storylines and angst. Underage, unprotected sex. Crazed, stereotypical Christian family. Stereotypical dysfunctional parentless family. Ruining the reputation of a good teacher. Plus trigger warnings for anorexia, a suicide attempt and probably a pregnancy.

My daughter read this and said she just loved it. I thought it was a cute ghost romance. Good story idea. :)
