Oh my.. Reign and Ruin was the best way to wrap up this series. My heart is so full with Anwen and Evander's story, but I'm sad that it was the end. It is a book you won't want to put down, needing to know what happens next.

We start off this 3rd novel in Anwen and Evander's story right where Bonds and Envy ended. We continue seeing both main characters grow both together as a couple and as individuals. Each will protect the other at all costs and also go to many lengths for their friends and people in the vales. Many sacrifices and mistakes are made, but also bold decisions and trust placed once Ruin decides to show their might to take over the vales.

I was shocked at some of the plot twists and mysteries wrapped up in this 3rd book, but answered all the questions readers have while reading through Faie and Fury and Bonds and Envy. I would absolutely recommend this series to readers who love a complex world with a new look at fae, humans, magic, and other creatures that is full of action, banter-filled interactions, and heartwarming love. Devon created a world that readers can revisit many times and love the characters just as much as the beginning.

an EPIC Ride!

I have loved this series from the very first page of book 1. I have been an ARC reader for books 2 and 3. I enjoyed every moment of this wild ride. So many turns lurking through this book. This author is pure genius the way she weaves description and action making you want to keep reading. If I could rate this book higher, I would! Definitely a must read for anyone looking for an incredible series to sink their teeth and their emotions into!

I finished this book about a week ago, and I am just now attempting to find the words to write a review. No matter what this mediocre review says, please give this series a chance.

Reign and Ruin (book 3) was an epic action-packed whirlwind conclusion to The Faie King's Mortal series. I couldn't wait to read this book, but also dreaded it since I wasn't ready to say goodbye to some of my favorite characters. Devon Atwood really put her heart and soul into this series, but this book takes the cake.
From the beginning, the characters are thrown into turmoil, catastrophe, and push every boundary in their world. Since there is so much happening in this conclusion, I did find myself stopping periodically so I could process and fully consume all of the events and character shifts. With that being said, I still read this in two days while working full time.

Devon created an incredible world that captivated me from the very first book. I am exceptionally sad that this series has ended, but I do have a secret that you will just have to find out for yourself.

I found this author through this series, but due to her entrancing stories with incredible characters, I will happily read anything she writes.
Happy Reading :)
