DNF on page 76. I do not like all her friends egging on this relationship with her ex, I do not like the ex, and I do not like the writing. Also I read a spoiler for what ends of happening and I am SO happy I am quitting it now.

There are some flaws, but generally I enjoyed this debut novel from Kate Bromley. Like many other reviewers, I was not at all happy when Ryan's secret was revealed. However, Bromley did a decent job of giving us both sides to the story.

My favorite part was the humor Kara and Ryan brought out in each other. And the cute doggo, of course!

Talk bookish to me was cute. I originally had trouble with the formatting of the book so I actually bought the physical format and the Kindle book to have the formats I liked.

It had a really good plotline. I normally don't like books about authors writing about books but I did like this one.

This one was a four star rating.
