Loved this book. It puts you into the time of the London blitz. I gave up on the mushy stuff but thoroughly enjoyed the story anyhow.

This books gives a real sense of what it must have been like to experience the blitz and its aftermath.
The romance is a bit soapy but enjoyable.
Didn't realise it was a second book about the Ambulance Girls, but although it refers back to events in the 1st one, it stands alone as a story

Enjoyed this and found the story really engaging.

Occasional overuse of foreshadowing but minor.
