There are some great activities for families in this book (make ahead and make-together) that stimulate, educate, and entertain.

I appreciate that most of the projects are simple (some require nothing but your body) and the "train your adult" section is a cool feature of this book. This book speaks from the child's perspective and in this way falls in a progressive model of teaching and learning.

This comes in handy when you're in a rut before and after meals, need to break up the routine, or get kids away from screens. Highly recommended.
