I got bored with the spicy scenes, I skimmed most of them, some I skipped entirely. So that aside, the rest was pretty good. A lot happening, but of course, most at the very end. That’s how it goes for this series. Some parts fell a little flat. I felt that the club scene was really built up to be this big reveal, but it wasn’t really. It was exactly what k expected it to be, and then they went home. Boring. Also seemed like the whole Richard thing was forgotten about until the very end, which was weird since it was the cliffhanger so the previous book. I’m glad the next book is the finale of the series. I still want to know how everything ends but it’s really becoming a struggle to get to the end.

This installment had so many twist and turns you can’t put it down. You learn so much and have so many more questions.
So looking forward to the next book.

This was a hard book for me to finish. It was good writing, just hard topics. Def. Tw for rape, shooting and infertility

Another bang to pick us back up. Lots more drama and WTF moments to keep you engulfed in the crazy. You will be sitting there saddened and depressed waiting for the sun to finally shine on Erica and Blake.
The end is still a cliff but feels more like a low lying plateau. ;)

I really hated the way book 3 ended, and I almost walked away from the series at that point. I think the unnecessary assault in book 3 left a sour taste in my mouth. However, when I did pick this series up again, Hard Limit more than made up for its predecessor. The cliffhanger is expected yet still dramatic and dynamic, and the problems made me love the characters even more.

THIS BOOK IS REDEMPTION. If y'all read my review of Hardline (Hacker #3), then you know what I'm talking about. This novel made up for every let down that was Hardline. This novel starts off way happier (I wrote "I'm sure it'll take a twist in my notes") life seems to be going better for Erica and Blake. We finally get to meet Elliott and his new family. Blake treats Erica like a QUEEN and y'all, we finally get baby talk.

We get our twist in an unexpected way. Twice really, but the first one is about halfway through the novel. It's not what you're expecting. It's VERY BDSM. If you're strongly against that and like to down other people's kinks, don't read this book. It's not for you. I'll leave it at that and not go into further detail.

One thing I kinda noticed is that Erica puts herself into a lot of situations she wouldn't be in if she just thought things through. She's very rash and jumps to conclusions. EVERYTHING BAD THAT CAN HAPPEN TO A PERSON HAPPENS TO ERICA. No joke. I know it's a book but y'all, Wild writes her in as the absolute most unlucky person in the world. There literally can't be one person out there who has had the same amount of bad luck as her. It's unreal (obviously, but still.)
Can't wait to finish out the series with Hard Love!

4.5/5 this series keeps getting better and better. The DRAMA in this one had me on the edge of my seat, I loved every second.
