โ€œFox, JJ, Maverick and Rogue. Especially Rogue. She was everything. She had always been everything. The centre of our world here in Sunset Cove.โ€

Four teenage boys and their BFF girl friend Rogue have a friendship so tight and secure, their bond with each other is friendship goals.
Sometimes friendship that you think are unbreakable can shatter overnight.

What happens when your friend gets nearly raped and she ends up killing her rapist? Said rapist is part of a gang. If thereโ€™s a witness and that rat narks to the notorious gang leader that rules the town?!
Shit goes pretty haywire when one of the boys in the friendship is the gang leaders son.
These four boys love Rogue and are willing to kill and die for her but unfortunately they must shatter their relationship in order to save her life.

Left her alone to fend for herself you can only imagine the bitterness and hatred that she brews her mind against the people she called her family and her best friends.

This was a lovely prequel to the book Sinners Playground.
I sense a bully romance, enemies to lovers, and definitely reverse harem! This prequel had some pretty dark moments so Iโ€™m definitely excited to read Sinners Playground!

If this prequel is anything to go by then I can't wait to get my hands on Sinners Playground.
Rogue, Maverick, jj, chase and fox have such a strong bond that nothing will come between them. Until it does.
Promises are broken and hearts are shattered and the ultimate sacrifice is betrayal.

It's a Fast paced, edge of your seat book that will have you reading non stop and have you reaching for the next book to continue the story

this introduction novella has definitely got me interested and hooked on this town, i'm excited for the next part of their story now!
the slight miscommunication did have me wanting to throttle them through the book though ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

This prequel novella has got me more than ready to meet this characters ten years down the road in the series opener.

Rogue and the guys have been through a helluva an experience. Thereโ€™s going to be so much angst when they meet back up and I am here for it!

Beware: youโ€™ll be left wanting more of these characters at the end!

Really liked this short story and introduction to this world and the characters. Just felt some things were slow and it took me some time to get into it. Interesting concept and story for sure.
