Listen, I’m counting this as finished even though I did have to stop about 75% of the way through. An incredibly compelling story that I seriously loved, but just too triggering to continue at this stage in my life

This was absolutely enthralling. Like I literally could not turn the pages fast enough. I could feel my heart beating as I got closer and closer to learning who died on trivia night and why. Jane, Madeline, and Celeste are wonderfully complex, three-dimensional, flawed characters. And, obviously, it’s a great dissection of white suburban life and politics.

Contemporary books tend to annoy me, because I often find the tone to be too flippant. But I think I’ve just been reading the wrong contemporary authors. Liane Moriarty kept it perfectly serious and tense when it needed to be, and balanced it just right with a dash of lightheartedness and humor.

A domestic mystery that sadly didn't live up to the hype in my opinion with an extremely predictable plot twist.

Liane Moriarty's "Big Little Lies" is a masterful entanglement of humor, drama, and suspense. The novel delves deep into the complexities of suburban life through the stories of three women, their families and friends, all grappling with their own secrets and struggles.
Moriarty's sharp wit and keen insights into human nature make for a compelling read that is impossible to put down. The plot twists are unexpected and thrilling, keeping you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. "Big Little Lies" is an unforgettable journey into the darker side of friendship and motherhood, making it a must-read for anyone who loves a good mystery with a side of laughter.

I love a book that makes me gasp out loud and that happened multiple times as I got nearer and nearer to the end.
The Saxon banks reveal?????? I’m not sure how i didn’t see it coming but it fully got me
I love the momentum the story takes on as more is revealed and how I was taken in just as easily as some of the characters right up until crucial pieces of info were given, I love how ambiguous the interview sections are but also how they give a little more context about the end every time, idk i just liked this a lot, I was fully sucked in
