Such a cute little manga! Being a librarian, I had no choice but to pick up this book. Imagine being reincarnated as a 5 year old in a different time with NO books. That's what happened to Myne. Now she is on a quest to make her own books at any cost, and her family is growing suspicious of her sudden behavior change.

And I thought *I* was obsessed with books...

The translation is a bit weird, making me think that the prose is much better in Japanese. There are also words used in an abnormal way for an English speaker, or places where a better word should be used. An example: using the word "wipe" in reference to using a towel on hair after it's been washed.

Once you get used to how it reads, the actual story is quite enjoyable. There are so many light novels in this series, it is going to become expensive.
