It got a bit repetitive and I had more interesting books to read.

I don't think I would have picked this book up, but I found the audio book and actually really enjoyed it. It is made up of 12 short stories and I thought that it was going to repetitive although all the stories started out the same they took completely different routes. For some of the stories I had worked out who committed the crime or the person they were looking for but I found it intriguing when Sherlock used his perception to work out how they did it and why. All the stories had the right amount of detail about the characters and surroundings but was also to the point in coming to the conclusion of the cases.
Overall, was a nice and easy listen!

I not going to compile the stats on the average contribution of every story to my overall rating but from my gut feeling, this has been my favourite Sherlock Holmes book so far. I enjoyed it immensely. Pray do read if you like detective fiction!

It was so fun to dive into the world of Sherlock Holmes but I preferred the other books more. It felt like the case was chewed out for you and you could nit really try to solve the case yourself, so it got a little boring at times.
