Individual story rating:
When Angels Come in - ★★★★
The Ancestors - ★★★
Florrie - ★★
When Angels Come In got me from start to finish. The creepiness was there and the vagueness was just right.
The Ancestors was okay. I like the concept and the execution was okay but it didn't capture my interest like When Angels Come In did.
Florrie was not for me. I found 90% of it boring, although I will definitely give props to the last line, that was chilling.
Pretty good stories still, overall. I can see the appeal and I could recommend this to any horror fan looking for quick reads.
