Aubrie Dionne is becoming one of those authors that I cannot say no to. Her books are phenomenal. The third in her Paradise reclaimed series was just as good as her first two. And the great thing about this series is that you really do not have to read the first two, although it would give you a heck of a lot of background information, but you do not HAVE TO. Aubrie does an outstanding job of reminding the reader of the past events but not to a point where the story gets boring just to a point where my memory is jogged and then she moves right along.

And speaking of moving along, this book picks up seriously right after they escaped from the horrific spider aliens. The main characters are still reeling from the affects of that escape and awards are still being given out. More importantly, an alien that was trapped on that spaceship was rescued and has just woken up!

This is just the beginning of this book. I was already completely enthralled and couldn't wait to find out what Aubrie had in store this time. All of her stories are filled with horror and some tragedy but the characters always come out in the end better than when they started.
We also get to see more arachnids, which I positively love! This is like Alien in book form, so fantastically written that I felt like I could imagine them! And since I'm a lover of spiders this was fabulous for me!

The ending seemed maybe a little cut off this time. I still have some questions where in her first two it seemed that although they ended on cliff hangers, I felt most of my questions were answered. This one seemed like it left some things unanswered on purpose. But being a huge fan of Aubrie's, I'm kind of hoping that was the point and we're going to get a book four!

Absolutely recommended for anyone who enjoys a bit of dystopian (although it doesn't seem that bad), with some sci-fi, horror, and a touch of romance!
