Such a great combination of depth and vulnerability for s romance book! Usually I don’t read books that focus only on romance and relationships because I find them boring and superficial. But I found this one so gripping snd exciting.

Yes this was obviously a romance book, I mean the entire plot is fake dating. But the book covered subjects like sexual assault and domestic violence, and it did such a great job at it. It made me fall in love with the characters.

After re-reading, I liked this book way more than expected and I am a huge Garrett Graham fan, even though his name is incredibly boring for his personality. Garrett and Hannah were super adorable and even though this book had so many pop culture references, that kind of cemented the book's setting firmly in the year 2014/2015.
They were so adorable and the fact that this was a dual perspective book made the payoffs so much better because Hannah's parts were a little more boring and you can feel the longing for Hannah in Garrett's parts. AND THE NICKNAME!!! PLEASE. It was so cute, like when he just came up with the nickname and he did research into her, which was like a parallel of Hannah doing research on Justin. I hated how most of the other characters were just simply there and Justin obviously was only there for her character development, but it was nice that he got a happy ending too and that they became friends.
