This book was such as easy read and i flew through it in like 3/4 hours! Thats how quick i was able to read it. This book was kind of split in half with half the book being where shes a human and the second half where she is a fly. This made the parts of the book quite funny to the point where i laughed outloud a few times. There was bits of romance in it however i wished there was more with the potential i feel it had.

Gretchen reminded me of myself a bit at the beginning as she has Red hair which i have however hers it much more bright. shes a queit girl and how she only has 1 main friend. Titus was an interesting character and i liked how we got to see more and the confessions he makes when in the locker room.

This book has diverse elements in as most books set in a high school does with sexuality.

4 stars as i really enjoyed it however wish their was more as i wanted to see what happened to some of the other characters we saw and more romance!

Meh. It was meh. I didn't really like Gretchen but I also didn't hate her. I thought she was selfish at times and rude and verry obsessed with Titus, Titus, Titus.
And now I can't hear or say the word gerkin without thinking about this book. I did like Katya, but personally I didn't really think she was that a good friend. Like what happened to sister's before misters.
I also thought the plot was kida random. And the explanation for why she turned into a fly was very underwhelming. And the type of obvious that you think it can't be that.

All in all I thought it was not one of E. Lockhart's good books. I just thought it was a very random book. With almost no plot and decent characters.

I liked this short read as there was a moral to the story, don't judge someone before you know them.

Also, thank God for diversity! I'm fed up of reading about white, female, American or english straight characters, so it was lovely to read about someone different for once. WOO! Go E.Lockhart!

The whole idea of this book is that the main character becomes a fly on the wall, which is strange because it's literal. Those chapters are disorientating at first but you become used to them quickly.

Overall, I enjoyed this short read but one thing it does need is more punctuation and chapters! Some sentences are like 5 lines long which began to annoy me.

While clearly not Lockhart's magnum opus ([b:The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks|1629601|The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks|E. I like how open this book is about sex, and I really like the multi-ethnic cast of characters--how often do you encounter a protagonist who's both Chinese-American and Jewish? Gretchen's also just wonderfully funny and real. I wish I'd found more examples of girls like her in fiction when I was the same age.
