This was an incredible read. This book is an inspiring, insightful book based on the seven Hebrews words of praise. It is basically a textbook about Praise and Worship. As a Christian, I am glad that I bought this book after watching Chris Tomlin on his Holy Roar tour when he came to Abbotsford, British Columbia. I loved the writing and seeing the experiences between Darren and Chris. It gave me a glimpse into what true worship requires, and how there are different words for praise means. I loved this book. Overall, an amazing read.

Super simple and super revelational to understanding worship. I’ve always in a way understood these words but the way they are written brought them to life. I also liked the correlation to current worship songs, it really helped remember the words.

What a passionate call to worship God more biblically and more wholly.

4.5 stars, rounded up. This book explores the seven Hebrew words for praise and provides their applications to worship. Chris Tomlin is one of my favorite singers and his worship songs always having me praising God in my car or while cleaning the house. I love any text that delves into the Hebrew origins of the Bible, but I wish this book was longer

A wonderful book looking at the original Hebrew words we have translated into the simple word "praise." It really opened my eyes to the many different ways God's people have worshipped in the past. And continue to worship today. I highly recommend if you are at all interested in knowing how to make worship a part of your daily life. And not just a Sunday occurrence.
