This story captivated me from the beginning. I absolutely LOVED it! I seriously couldn't stop reading it. Yes, it's that good. There's some insane chemistry between the two main characters and enough real danger for them both to compel you to continue flipping pages. This is the type of read you don't realize you're rushing through until you reach the wonderful ending. I hoped there were more books like this one, but sadly it's the only one. I really need more like this one. I'm not going to spoil any of it, if the blurb doesn't convince you to give this one a shot, hopefully, this review will. Highly recommend it!

4/5🌶️, MF, sci-fi, alien gladiator-human slave, forced proximity in a prison, standalone, dual narration, Audible Plus

This book was a great low steaks, sexy, fun, sci-fi alien story. While I freely admit there wasn’t a TON of substance to the plot (alien gladiator is given a human slave to keep him happy and they fall in love and plan an escape), I was throughly entertained regardless. This book was a perfect example of a possessive male who still respects his woman’s body/desires and the FMC made the first move. The consent was top notch, especially for an alien book. The couple was constantly checking in with each other and the scene where the FMC dictates to the MMC, who is completely unaware of human physiology, exactly how she likes to get off was super hot. I’d put this book among the top of the books I’ve read by Ruby Dixon and I liked it more than many of the IPB books.
