I loved the heart wrenching parallels between the three pairs of brothers (Tokito, Shinazugawa, Tsugikuni). I never expected Yuushiro to be useful but damn controlling the Biwa demon instead of killing her was quite smart. The Hashiras are so cool, I literally cannot wait to see them in action. Muzan is hot goddamn. I wonder what Zenitsu and Inosuke are upto, we hardly saw them after their fights. Oh I totally forgot about Nezuko lol.
Predictions for the next volume? I really really hope Giyuu doesn't die. He's one of my only favourite characters that's still standing. But I genuinely don't think he'll make it :// And ig we're going to see the ever so famous "Demon King Tanjirou" too? Kinda dreading it

there's crucial plot development here w/ muzan's calamitous and grisly revival, the end of the infinity fortress setting, [redacted]'s horrible injury, and a very important backstory. and while the gore, mass deaths, and sacrifices are taken to another level, none of it feels gratuitous as it stays true to the brutal reality thats been set up the whole series.
the highlight for me, however, is the characters and their relationship w/ one another esp in regards to the running theme of family - so very poignant and stirring they can be (my tears are def proof of that). the brotherly relationships of both muichiro and genya after their respective [redacted], nezuko's awakening are great examples, but yoriichi and his devastating backstory are what truly elevate vol. 21 to 5 stars; he's def one of the most memorable, tragic, and endearing characters ive ever read.
sh!t's gonna go even more haywire from here on out, and i cant believe there's only 2 volumes left goddamn.
