Didn't love the use of mental illness as a plot device.

Honestly, one of my favourite books. I picked it up a whole ago and started reading and put it down and completely forgot about it (the start of the book is pretty slow... say the first 40 pages, hence why it never made it to 5 stars...) but I picked it up again recently and I loved it!!!!

The characters were so loveable, but not in a way you'd expect. They were just so interesting and the more I read the more inclined I felt to keep reading more.

I usually am not a fan of the changing perspectives, but I feel this book pulled it off very well and it almost serves as a massive twist throughout the whole thing ....

The ending was not at all what I expected it to be, and to be honest?? Neither was the book lol. When reading the blurb, I was worried it would kind of veer off into this unexpected weird stalker-romance relationship and I would be severely disappointed 😅 but nevertheless .... that isn't what happened !!!

I loved the dynamic between Joe and felicity and I really enjoyed seeing both of their views on the entire situation with the homeless ppl etc (huge spoiler in the next brackets...literally destroyed the whole plot of the book)  (such an odd coincidence that
felicity would happen to be Shane... who liked to watch homeless people... and Joe would be involved with homeless people... and ezzy would be the murderer that essentially fucked up everyone's lives...
)

But honestly . So great . So many twists and turns and so many people were involved and there was Soooooo much to remember but somehow it all just fit together so perfectly that it made sense somehow despite the masses of info lol :P

I also wanted to say that I enjoyed seeing
Felicity come to terms with her mental illness and understand everything that had happened to her. It was really nice to see that she, despite being given a very raw deal in life, managed to become very successful. I Also really like that this book didn't demonise DID ??? Feel like most books that revolved around crime & mental illnesses tend to stick to one's such as DID & Schizophrenia n that just... contributes to a whole stigma...

BUT ANYWAYS honestly wonderful, one of the best books I've ever read and it actually physically moved me (like I levitated jk but I actually nearly cried @ it & I've never cried at a book before lol)
