I had such high hopes for this book, but I am somewhat disappointed. It was sorta just bleh for me.

I am a huge fan of thrillers, and after hearing all the high praise on TikTok, it was quickly added to my TBR.

In the end, I just wasn't a huge fan of the story. The writing, however, was excellent, and the author did a fabulous job with description.

I've just enjoyed other thrillers a bit more.

This was so good. I loved all the different perspectives. It had me guessing on who the killer was. The suspense at the end really had me on the edge of my seat. I’m glad TikTok showed the world this book.

1.5 stars for the concept of the plot only. The main character was unlikeable, self-centered, and unnecessarily ignorant to social cues and basic human interaction. The execution of the plot just didn't make sense. The book overall seemed very disjointed and the plot was murky at best.

Honestly- I really enjoyed this book! I was one of the individuals who got sucked into this novel after it went viral by the authors daughter posting about it on TikTok, but I’m glad I did!

I’ve always been a law and order, true crime, kind of girly and I ATE this book up. The book was surprisingly well written, contained plot twists, and definitely set us up well for the sequel. You can also tell that the author did immense amounts of research on the topics which is always a plus as far as accuracy.

If you’re into murder mystery, true crime, and/or thriller novels this one is for you! Rightfully hyped up- this gentleman did a great job with the book. I felt like I was watching a true crime series on tv.

Well done! Looking forward to reading the next one.
