A Hunter.
An Assasian.
A General.
A Warrior.
A Safi.
A world engulfed in chaos and darkness, magic long gone.
A quest.
The only chance for the revival of magic.
Five enemies turned allies. Who'll betray whom?
Fire and ice together. Will the fire extinguish or will the ice burn out?
Once chance.
One quest.
Five enemies having the same goal - to find the lost 'jawarat'.
The only hope for the return of magic.

This could've easily been a 5 star book, but the pacing felt a bit weird to me. Sometimes I was bored, sometimes I had no idea what was going on. The premise sounds amazing, but sadly there wasn't a lot to differentiate this from other very basic YA books. Still a solid read, with beautiful (if a bit slow) writing and intriguing aesthetic.

I really liked We Hunt the Flame, but I ultimately didn't exactly love it. Despite the fact that I was a little disappointed by this book, I'll still definitely be continuing with the Sands of Arawiya series! :)

My Rating / Score: 3 1/2 out of 5 Stars on Goodreads' rating system. 7 out of 10 on my own personal scoring system.

I think this might be one of my favorite YA Fantasy of all time. Everything was incredible, the characters, the lore, the relationships, the characters’ arcs, etc. I loved it. Can’t wait to read We Free The Stars.

OH MY GOD. THE END. SPEECHLESS.
I mean it was so obvious but for some reason I didn't realise.
BUT OH MY GOD. LOVE.
