So so cute. Seeing Dean work through his trauma and be there for Kate and Cal was so adorable. Even though it only happened twice, I loved seeing Cals side of things as well.

This was absolutely adorable and I loved seeing Kate & Dean heal together and help each other. Might just be one of my favourite Elizabeth books! Cal and Dean really had my heart and I love how much focus there was on the struggles that came with dating as a single-parent. Dean's character development was so good, he went from a goofy single guy to someone who really seems up to raising a child. The third-act-breakup went a bit too far for me (like I'm still supposed to be rooting for them??) but that's my only criticism.
