Audible version. My daughter and I listened to this one on a road trip and it was so hard to hear the narrator half the time, we could barely follow the mystery. As these are short and cheap, I may consider listening to the next one in a quieter environment to see if i connect with the characters enough to care. But really nothing special.

Almost like James Patterson’s Bookshots, this was the first short e-novella “episode” of Cherringham, introducing us to the sleuthing duo of Sarah and Jack.

Decent mystery, fairly well-written, and well-paced — it didn’t feel TOO fast and the world-building was surprisingly effective given the short length of the story.

First things first, i love love love chapters with titles. And when the chapters are short, chefs kiss. A pair made in heaven.

A break from crazy twists, serial killers, unreliable narrators. This one was a very light hearted fast paced murder mystery with Sherlock Holmes vibes. I totally am in love with jack. Quoting from the book," Afterall Jack is Jack ".

This is was being crazy so far and I read two books with very graphic violence. I wanted a very light read, in such scenarios i usually turn to rom coms but I think I have found a new favourite series.

The book had all the spice for a murder mystery, and all the investigation stuff. I loved this book so much. Short and sweet. But with all the coziness of small English village promised.

I heard the audiobook by @lubbeaudio and the narrator was so good along with the background music. Loved it. Definately looking forward to read more books in the series and also by the Lubbe Audio.

Short but fun little mystery novel in the style of Agatha Christie. Very likable characters. I look forward to reading more!
