This was... not quite what I was expecting. Certain aspects were definitely intriguing, like his split between "role" and "gender" (people using he/him pronouns can still perform the role of "daughter", especially). A few of the stories were interesting. However, pretty much every single story depicted clear abuse against the main character, and only 1 story ended with the character clearly being freed from their abuse. I am not about to tell anyone else what do with their art or tell anyone else how to interact with art, but I did not like the feeling created by all these characters apparently left in their abusive situations without even a clear condemnation of the abuse. I think too many people are stuck in abusive situations primarily because they don't know that what is being done to them is not ok, so it doesn't sit well with me to read stories that don't clearly and openly condemn the abuse depicted.
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Sexual violence, Toxic relationship, and Violence
