Mysterious setting & spooky town history was compelling, I wanted to like it. Having spent several months living in the woods in that area it seemed like it would be right up my alley.
Unfortunately I didn't love the way things wrapped up.

The epilogue went through a laundry list of the mysterious happenings & crimes and attributes them all to different people, nothing was left to imagination. Aside from the town's dead kids, nobody good really suffered anything & everyone gets their happy ending. I felt all the potential for good horror was sterilized.
