4.5 stars. I was pleasantly surprised by this book and author and it’s probably the best book I’ve read this year so far? It you’re looking for intense meant to be soul mates, this is it. I will definitely be reading more books by this author.
Is it perfect? No. They way that it is written can be jarring and the end is a bit “mmm what?” But I enjoyed it. And it has incredibly well written and hot steam.

Silas x Eliza. She has been dreaming about him for a long time, and when her and her bf end up on a ship back home, among the other travelers is Silas - the spitting image of the man in her dreams. They develop a relationship, realizing that he dreams of her as well.

She leaves her bf to be with him about 50% through the book

[Don't uncover if you don't want to know the end:]

it was all a dream, it ends with her bf saying that the other travelers are coming onto the ship

The writing on this one was more romantic and I couldn't get over the 1st person omnipotence of "Silas' pov". It was a beautifully written book but it also had elements without explanation.

I guess the ending might explain why there were plot holes?
