The voice acting in the audio edition of this novel is outstanding. Some actors with deep/masculine voices create goofy, squeaky voices for female characters, and some with higher/feminine voices create forced-sounding, faux-masculine voices for male characters. Griffin Newman creates unique voices for each character without making any of them sound ridiculous. He voices Rekulak's characters in a way that brings them to life realistically. They sound very similar to the ways they did when I read this book (with my eyes instead of my ears) the first time, and I am glad I revisited this novel in its audiobook form.
