What a sweet and simple book. No complicated storylines, no big drama (just some small drama), no heavy burdens about saving the world or angst. Just some ladies who like to quilt.

This is a sweet story that feels a bit like a Hallmark movie! An older woman teaches a younger woman how to quilt, and they strike up an unlikely friendship. There are a few bumps in the road along the way and some broken relationships that need to be mended, but it's the kind of story that finishes neatly.

A wonderful piecing of memories and present-time all sewn together with quilt techniques and friendship. This book always makes me itch to quilt and create.

I love the Elm Creek Quilts series - what a great group of nice, clean books. If you're a quilter, you'll love them - if you're not, you'll want to be!

I love this series and I decided that I wanted to reread it. It has a very easy to read story line, that is about friendship!

This is a delightful story with a warm cast of characters, exploring relationships - life partners, family, friendship - using the cozy vehicle of quilting.  Looking forward to further exploring this charming series.

Cute, sugary story. I loved the quilt references though.

Delightful. I loved that I learned so much about quilting while enjoying stories that spanned generations. A series to revisit.
