The ONLY reason this gets a two is because the writing style, and setting are beautiful. The description of the houses, landscape, and the mood it casts are vivid and put you into the story..... And that's the issue this story and characters are heinous. So much hate, malice, greed, and UNNECESSARY unkindness for what??? To ruin everyone's lives? I wanted to dnf a million times but just loved the writing style.
