Please note; my star rating on any book is completely subjective and limited to the label for each star.

1 Star I didn’t like it
2 Stars It was okay
3 Stars I liked it
4 Stars I really liked it
5 Stars It was amazing!

If I do actually have something to say about a book other than what my enjoyment factor was, I will write a review and share my thoughts. If I say I didn’t like a book but there wasn’t anything that about it that I thought needed to be shared particularly, then that’s it, I just didn’t like it.

If you’d like to start a discussion about a book or you’d like an actual review, ask any question you like and I’ll be happy to try and comply/respond.

Additional note; I do not feed the trolls. If you don’t have something constructive to say, or if you can’t say it in a respectful way, you won’t get a response from me. Ever.

I don't remember a thing from the first book, but that's ok I worked it out as I went along. I think I liked the gargoyle more than the characters. I'm finding this one hard to review, parts dragged along then I got into it then I got over it again. I love this author but this is not Bones (previous series character). I'll give the 3rd book a go later.

Takes too stupid to live to a whole new level. I really enjoyed Frost's Cat & Bones series, but this one and the last Night Prince were such letdowns.

I want to say that this is still a touch too religious for me, but I think I've gotten over it. I can put aside my feelings on that to enjoy the story—and I did just that. This book was wonderful and well worth the wait! Now I'm tapping my foot in impatience as I look for the 3rd book... Because that epilogue? Oooh!

Oh, this book was just freaking fantastic! So much happened, so many revelations, some really tense times, both dangerous and romantic! And that ending, wow! So evil! Ivy and Adrian know what has to be done, and the price, but oh, man! Just evil, that ending!

"you're all that and a bag of badass."

"i landed on the other side with my usual grace, which meant face-first into the pavement."

While I like this series, I am not enjoying it as much as her other series. It's just okay. I will continue because I want to find out what happens, I'm just not in love with these characters as some as the previous ones.

I really like this author, but this side series is not my favorite. I plan to finish the last book in the trilogy but I won’t be doing anymore of the other series besides her main one after this.
