god i LOVE books written by women about being ~a hysterical crazy woman~ because it adds so much depth to the character. the voice of the main character is so clear even when she’s confused or overwhelmed. the writing is definitely heavy and strange subject matter but the internal dialogue and self judgement is really honest because of the way it’s written. the way the writing is makes the complex subject matter feel regular rather than deranged, simply because the prose is from the perspective of the main character. i love ironic crazy woman books — not just because the writing is so enjoyable, but because the plot and characters have such profound realizations about themselves and their environment.

Honestly I did relate to this book a lot as someone who has participated in self harm through sexual promiscuity. I think it was an intriguing look of one of the many reasons someone may have issues with that. I was a little frustrated

about the mystery of the bartender’s existence. I wish he would have existed honestly, as a testament to how this type of sexual behavior can lead to such misadventures and odd encounters

but overall I really enjoyed this book.

i’m truly disappointed by this book, I was truly trying to look forward to a character there was do you so that we could connect their emotions feelings and thoughts regarding her story, however it was not like it.

The blood by itself it’s fine put the character ended up as boring and plain, something that she’ll never be included in a dark and twisted novella, especially in the main character of the story.

As a huge fan of dark stories what do audience is usually looking for is to dig in the thoughts and mind of the character that’s making your story “dark” or “confusing” or “weird”, you want to read what is this person thinking and why does this person do the things that this person does, in this book do you only read what this person is going through on the outside rather than on the inside which was vital.

I truly believe that this had a lot of potential but he just was wasted down the toilet
