Another great ghost story in the series. Each book has a unique haunted location with its own unique ghost. This one is a haunted VA hospital with a ghost nurse continuing her mission in the afterlife.

One thing I have found out about the Berkley Street series, don’t get too attached to any characters. Every one dies painfully in these books except for Shane, at least that’s what it feels like to me.
The books are very formulaic - a place has a ghost that kills people, Shane has to go to this place for some reason, they get attacked but get away, Shane has to go back to fight the ghost even though it will probably kill him.
I still find these entertaining as hell even if they are somewhat predictable.
