First things first, I got my copy of this book from the Goodreads giveaway. It took me some time before I was finally able to read it because my to-read list is so long but by the time I did I found it a refreshing read! While I enjoy heady literary reads, it's the fun light ones like The Texas Twist that I enjoy the most. Admittedly I haven't read the first two books in the series yet but this book made me want to read them and I put them on my Christmas list.
What made me decide to enter the giveaway for this novel in the first place was fact it was described as a fun heist story a la Oceans Eleven and it definitely has that vibe, so if you're a fan you'll enjoy this story. Easy to read with likable characters and fun plot, this is the perfect rainy day novel to curl up with.
