I listened to this as an audiobook because hello!! Lauren Graham. It was lovely to hear her voice telling stories and sharing the bittersweetness of growing older. Very relatable.

I first watched Gilmore Girls when it originally aired and most identified with Rory, I kept watching it and over the years found myself identifying with Lorelai; I now identify with Emily. Such is the cycle of life and the reason I will read anything this actor chooses to write. Some of these essays are very good and some of them don’t really work but this was a light and easy beach read (except for the mother stuff) that I devoured in a day.
