I liked this. I only gave it 3 stars because of the length. I hate reading a good story that could be GREAT if just longer. I didn't get to know Stevie at all but I fell in love with Zach. That saved the book. If longer this most likely would have been a 5 star book.

Loved this story! A goodreads friend recommended it because I liked an effeminate character in another book, and she thought I might like Zachary, which I definitely did. Loved "Stevie", his big, police officer boyfriend, too.

Zach's joie de vivre is damn infectious. I felt like I was in the middle of a whirlwind wearing teeny tiny pleather shorts and a mesh top. He gets all of the stars this time.

It's not often I fall for the characters in a short story so completely, but I was head-over-heels in love with Zach the moment he stepped onto the page. He makes no apologies for who he is, and his genuine, open, fun-loving personality won me over in an instant. I desperately wanted him to find a man worthy of him, and Officer Hotness (AKA: Stevie, AKA: Stephen Miranda) was that perfect guy. I loved the way Fae Sutherland managed to pack so much into so few pages. The characters felt well developed, the dialogue sang, and the love scene was scorching. I was fully satisfied when I turned the last page, and that's no easy feat for a short story. A wonderful, wonderful addition to my M/M collection.

A great little feel-good short about the twinkiest twink Zach meeting masculine 'Officer Hotness' Steven. It made me giggle and it made me go "Awww". Loved it!

4.5 stars. Zach has got to go on my list of favorite flamboyant characters and the romance was adorable. As everyone has noted, this is just plain too short and stops right when the interesting part of the story would be starting. (The "where do we go from meeting here" part.) But the author is entitled to do that - it is a complete story, even if I do really want a sequel novel. However the reason that I docked the half-star was that the plot was a little too conflict-free and easy for my preferences. (But so cute and sweet...)

Short PWP with large masculine cop and small flamboyant man - bout what I expected. Entertaining enough but nothing special.
