I especially loved the last several chapters from the Last Supper to Christ's ascension.

As usual, it takes me a while to get through non-fiction, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worthwhile or great! So many insights and nuggets of wisdom I learned complementing the book of Luke.

Perfect for personal Bible study or daily devotions. Each chapter closes in on a scene or chapter of Luke's Gospel. Sometimes I feel like I read familiar passages of the Bible too quickly. This book helped me slow down and see what was happening and reflect on it.
