I didn't love this volume quite as much as the the first, but I still thought it was intriguing and certainly kept my interest throughout.

There’s some cult action, Jo does something stupid, another man gets killed because of her...This run around is getting a little old and I’m ready to know more about how she never ages.

Dark and weird. And creepy and noir-ish. Sure it's just another person who just doesn't die but has some sort of object or other thing keeping her alive. But it's done well. With better than typical art. A surprisingly enjoyable read for something with high body count and mayhem and what have you.

You need to read this volume right after volume 1, otherwise you'll be really confused. I was like, what? The structure is also a bit odd, but that was okay. Mostly I had trouble remembering what had happened in volume one, so that was kind of frustrating, but not frustrating enough that I wanted to stop reading.

More of the same. The seedy Hollywood story is entertaining, but I hope the Cthulu stuff is actually going somewhere original.

I really enjoy this horror/noir series, but after reading this volume, it might better it wait till the series is over to try and read all of it at once. Too many minute details and plot points seemed to be used that I needed to look back for.

Creepier and creepier. For some reason the combination of Lovecraftian horror with a noir setting is scarier than most things I've read.
