Considering this opened up with "we're going to an orc nudist colony to get spit-roasted", I did nooooooooot expect it to be as cute and romantic as it was!

I really got invested in each gal's story, the lore of this world, and how they navigate orc and elvish societies. Lurielle and Khash had the sweetest romance, and I loved how they worked through her self-doubt and communication issues.

I'm really excited to see how the other two stories progress in the next instalment!

Maybe it's time to admit that I am a monster-smut loving binch.

I think this is completely a personal choice though, so others should give this book a try. I still really love this author. Just, this particular book and the style of it didn't work for me. I think I'll steer clear of this series and stick to the other books she's written (which I have enjoyed thoroughly).
