While it still feels like I’m getting banged over the head with the themes this volume was a lot more interesting.

Interesting twist, plot. But got a lot of holes. No character build up. But still got me curious till the end.

I haven't picked up a volume in over a year and a half, oops, but I'm glad I'm continuing because this shit is interesting.

The thrilling scenes and fights scenes keep the intrigue high, and on top of that we also get into some existential concepts about what these parasites actually are and their role with humans.

Spoilery recount of events for when I inevitably forget next volume:
Spoiler
Kuramori's (detective) family killed :(
We see Shinichi being conspicuous with a slash on his back and Migi pickpocketed some money for him to buy new clothes.
Migi said they have to put aside their differences in morals in order to work together
Police can't get much out of Kuramori except to meet 'Hirama'
Migi communicating via dreams with shinichi (bout wut)
Kuramori writing a report
Kusano-san is the 'emotionless?' paradite-dude suspicous of Tamura Reiko still 'being one of them'
Teams up with 2 others to fight her but she wins
Detective takes baby and sets up meeting with her in Hikari park and she invites Shinichi there too
Girlfriend checks up on him and is worried
Kuramori holds baby over railing and Tamura kills him;
Tamura concludes that Parasites and Humans are the same; Warns Shinichi about Goto and the mayor
Police get there and shoot at her with the baby and she didn't fight back
She then gave the baby to Shinichi to find a good home before dying
Girlfriend finds herself at the park (trying to find Shinichi but also pulled by something?)
Police have an inmate, Uragami, who they're using to tell if ppl are parasites
Jacks off in front of a girl (hes fucked up)
