I really tried to finish it, and it was good, but it lost me along the way. Love NightVale, but this was kinda boring?

I liked this book a lot but not what I thought it would be. Haven't delved much into the world of nightvale podcasts tbh so can't judge much based on that but I expected a bit more spooky weird stuff. Despite that, I really enjoyed the writing style and the storyline.

Two thoughts:
1. I used to find the faceless old woman who secretly lives in my home endearing, but now I am mostly terrified of her.
2. I never thought a Night Vale book would make me cry, yet here we are.
