This book, for obvious reasons, is an increasingly difficult read. When Vanessa Springora starts to realise the abuse G (I’m not putting down his full name, he doesn’t deserve it) puts her through, it is heart-wrenching and rage-inducing all at once 😫
I cannot believe G still gets applauded for his work.
Albeit it being a hard read though, I still want to give it 4 stars. It was incredible reading Vanessa’s writing. When she wrote that she would’ve wanted someone else to write it for her, but that she wouldn’t want to know how others suffered through her trauma, I got teary 🥺
4/5 stars for me, thank you ✨
