I have been following Kris since her BBC3 documentary in 2015, and it's great that she's still around and continuing to live her life joyfully.
This is definitely a book that I will hold onto forever, as it strikes the perfect balance between remaining optimistic, and also acknowledging the truly terrible things that life can throw at all of us. I listened to the audiobook, and hearing Kris' words in her own voice made this book feel even more like a conversation with a friend.
I would recommend this to anyone, but particularly those looking for realistic hope and optimism. Even in the worst of times, there may not be a miraculous solution, but there can still be little moments of joy worth holding onto.
