This book had me SCREAMING, in a good way. At least, most of the time. Not sure it's enough to make me wanna continue the series though. While it sort of ended on a cliffhanger, the author said it right- is not a happily ever after, it's a hopeful ever after.

Reads like a prequel to a future book. Sets up romantic history and then leaves us at a cliffhanger of separation.

The urge to highlight the entire text from Chapter 14 onwards is STRONG.

I LOVED the Miles Family series, and I swore to myself that I'd move on to this series straight after.

News flash: that was two years ago.

Better late than never.

To say that I'm struggling with finding "home run" books this year is an understatement. Yet here's Ms. Kingsley and her exceptional storytelling to the rescue. I can't wait to read Grace and Asher's HEA!

And this time, I won't be late to the party.
