I am still not sure what I think about this book. It has a lot of flaws and plot issues and I saw the main "twist" coming a long way off. It seems to drag beyond the point of ridiculousness, and the characters all act in unrealistic ways much of the time, especially the main character. However, one big positive for me is that there is nuance to many characters, diversity, and it's a sobering look at how easy it can be to get people to compromise their morals. Overall, I came away with a positive feeling about the message and a less positive one about the way the author got there.
