Quite scary and well crafted. Better than the movie elements they added with the neighbor boy.

I appreciate it for what it is, but even looking at from a purely writing standpoint, the movie is just way better. It was worth a read though, it had a decent bit of content that was altered or replaced in the movie.

4.5 stars rounding up. I really liked this story. I listened to the audiobook read by Gaiman himself which was of course a treat. The story was perfectly weird and creepy for October. I can't believe I have not read it before.
