Amazing story. Really loved learning more about Emily and Diana. I think they are kind of a weird match, but it works well. I was very much invested from the early stages of the book until the very end.

The one thing I wish would have been addressed is that I wish Emily ended up having a conversation with Diana about the long standing impact she has had on Emily’s life. Yes, Diana was made aware she had met Emily at that party in their college years, but that meeting changed Emily’s whole life and I would have liked to see how that conversation played out.

What can I say? This was such a great romance. There was just something about this book and the relationship that completely drew me in. It was a slow-burn, heartwarming and genuine-feeling romance that I completely adored. Diana and Emily had such a mature-feeling relationship that was communicative (yippee we love communication) and full of so much heart. I feel like I’m not explaining this well but so much that I loved about it was just a feeling. This book just made me so happy and the relationship was heartwarming, I don’t know what else to say. This is a definite recommendation and I’m really excited to read more from this author.

It wasn’t a bad written book. But I didn’t feel it. The chemistry build-up could have been more, The sex scenes could have been hotter, the connection (talking, touching, sensing etc) between Diana and Emily should have been more palpable. So it was okay, 3,3 stars.

Honestly, I don't know why the rating is not 5 stars, I did enjoy the book and there is nothing I didn't like about the book. But it also didn't have the 5 star feeling for me, so I can only give it 4.5 stars.
