What JJ pulls off in this book feels almost magical.
We manage to build from a spicy(!) age-gap romance into something with real depth and texture, as we wind our way around the lives of these characters and how their lives interact in the world around them. In effect, as the reader you experience a broadening of understanding over the course of the book similar to what the characters themselves are experiencing.
I'm working my way through my second reading, and the characters are still just as captivating and their chemistry is still just as potent. Well worth picking up a copy.

this book was very sweet and very well-written. there was a fair bit of back and forth between our two fmc’s in the beginning but it feels natural and understandable rather than tedious. super cute story and i’m excited to read more by this author :)
